comprises 3 modules each of 30 minutes duration. It is interactive and
is rich in the use of audio, Flash, photos and test questions to reinforce

Launched by the National School of Government in collaboration with
Goodpractice.net this unique online learning environment offers civil
servants access to resources relating to their needs. Helping managers
and their staff to be more effective and save time whether they are
starting a new project or tackling a tricky performance management issue.
Understanding the Civil Service
Understanding the Civil Service is a cross government consortium project
led by the Ministry of Defence and the National School of Government.
This comprehensive online programme is designed as an induction for
new entrants and a refresher for exisiting civil servants.
Consultancy Value Programme
In partnership with OGC, the National School of Government brings you the Consultancy Value Programme e-learning resource.
Finance Skills For All
Finance Skills for All is a joint initiative between the National school
of Government and HM Treasury. This unique, free of charge, foundation
level e-learning scheme comprises 10 modules.
Organisation Design and Change Framework
The Organisation Design and Change Framework will help Leaders and HR Professionals across government develop their Organisational Development capability, specifically in designing organisations and implementing changes that will achieve successful outcomes and sustainable performance.
Raising Awareness of Human Rights
Raising Awareness of Human Rights, commisioned by the National School
of Government and the Ministry of Justice, is designed to promote a
wider understanding of the Human Rights Act and its impact across the
Civil Service. This interactive e-learning package will guide you through
using case studies and tutorials.
PRIME: Leadership
PRIME: Leadership has been created specifically to develop the leadership
capabilities of the public sector managers. Content for the programme
was developed in collaboration with Lancaster University Management
School and includes over 20 hours of high quality e-learning on leadership
theory.
Analysis and Use of Evidence
Analysis and Use of Evidence is a group of self-assessment tools, designed
to test knowledge of the Analysis and Use of Evidence core skill and
direct the user to further learning opportunities as appropriate.
Successful Delivery
This package, which has been produced in collaboration with the Office
for Government Commerce, is aimed at anyone who wishes to have a broad
understanding of programme management in government and is based around
the PSG competencies.
Managing Learning and Development
This self assessment checklist is based on key good practice principles,
drawing on UK public sector experience and elements from the Australian
public service L&D framework. Heads of L&D, training managers and learning
and development professionals can use the checklist to assess their
own organisations progress.
